NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

KIMBALL CITY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the Kimball City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Main St. N, to consider the following:

Amending City Ordinance 1140 ?Äì Accessory Buildings and Structures to read as follows:

Section 1140.01: RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. No accessory buildings on an internal lot may be located within ten (10) feet of the side or rear lot lines or from the designated setback on a corner lot. No accessory building shall exceed the height of the principal building. Detached utility sheds or sheds attached to a principal structure separated from the principal structure by a wall shall be permitted by conditional use permit. If detached, they shall not be located closer than six (6) feet from the principal structure. A concrete slab or other suitable foundation shall be required. Such sheds shall not be larger than four hundred (400) square feet in area.
