The Kimball Area High School One Act Play cast was one of eight teams that competed in the Section 5A competition on Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Cloud State University. This was the team’s first trip to Sections in eight years.
Kimball performed “The 146 Point Flame” by Matt Thompson. Mora Schools earned top honors and a trip to the State One Act Play competition while Paynesville secured second place and is deemed the alternate team at State if Mora can’t attend.
“Our young cast worked hard this season, and our group was grateful for the opportunity to advance to Sections,” said fifth-year director, Kenzie Traurig.
“We have a bright future with Kimball Theatre.
