The Cubs welcomed in friendly rival Eden Valley-Watkins on Thursday, Aug. 30, to officially open the new season. Controlling both sides of the ball for the majority of the contest, the Eagles claimed a comfy 41-22 victory over the Cubs, who as always, exuded a valiant effort.
