The City of Kimball would like to enter into negotiations with area farmers interested in entering into an irrigation lease for the reuse of the City’s waste water effluent on approximately 109 acres of tillable land owned by the City. The City will enter into a contract with the farmer whose crop selection and crop rotation provides the most beneficial reuse of waste water effluent and meets the needs of the City’s waste water treatment contract with the MPCA. Contract price is only one of the factors that will be considered.
