Kimball Robotics set to host the Super Mega Tourney

·

The Kimball Robotics Vex IQ students competed well at the Pact ES/MS Holiday Hoedown event on Thursday, Dec 29. The Kimball Vex IQ students not only showed their competition skills, but also their Holiday spirit and sportsmanship throughout the day by helping other teams that were having
trouble. It was an awesome experience to see them share their knowledge with other robotics students so everyone could have an excellent time.

The Red Roly Polys had an awesome driving day and were able to come home with the second-place Teamwork Award while Team Vexcellent’s eye-catching robot design was able to earn them the Design Award. The Stitch Team judging skills were put to the test and were able to put them on top allowing them to bring home the Judge’s Award. Team roBots put in some hard work and were able to take eighth in the skills competition. All of the Kimball Vex IQ teams worked hard and had a great day.

If you would like to witness these awesome robotics students in action, along with their high school peers, please come and watch them at the Kimball Area High School during the Kimball Area Schools Super Mega Robotics tournament at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28. Admission is free. Volunteers are welcome at this robotics tournament and can sign-up online at https://signup.com/go/OnLczVU.
