July minutes summary from Kimball School Board
The Kimball School Board held their July 19, 2023, organizational board meeting at 6 p.m.
The board hired an elementary teacher, and accepted the resignation from one part-time paraprofessional.
The superintendent gave updates on the construction progress, backstop project, bus contract, open speech position, need for EL instructor, a legislative update, and scheduled negotiations.
The board may consider changing their meeting day beginning in September, but established the Truth in Taxation Hearing to be held in conjunction with the December date. The District’s 10-year Long-Term Facilities plan was approved, as were several other annual appointments and designations.
They accepted the Contract Bids for both the Elementary Construction Project and the High School Renovation, and Secured Entries.
The meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
