The Kimball Sports Boosters would like to thank everyone that attended our Donkey Basketball Tournament. This was an event that was enjoyed by all ages and members of the community no matter their interest. 700 tickets were sold.
Most of all we would like to thank everyone who helped us make this event possiable: Kimball Fire Department, Kimball Police Chief, business owners, school faculty and teachers, and booster members themselves.
The Kimball Sports Boosters would also like to thank the volunteers who helped work the event: Kimball High School Choir for singing the National Anthem, Kimball High National Honor Society for serving, Knaus Sausage House for donating the pork chops and beans, Gohmann’s for donating water, Wenners Hardware for donating the use of their grills, and the Kimball Legion members for cooking the pork chops. They were awesome.
A final special “thank you” to Byron Westrich the school’s activity director, and Kathy Phillips from Community Ed; thank you for helping us organize the Donkey Basketball event.
