The Cubs defeated Spectrum, 3-0, in the first round of the Section 5AA tournament Friday, Oct. 29. Set scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-16. It has been a season of constant change in the line-up for Kimball, because of injury and illness, but the girls have responded positively and have accepted their changing roles as needed. The Cubs travel to Watertown-Mayer Tuesday, Nov. 5, and play at 8 p.m.
