Volunteer members Jan Nelson, Dorothy Jensen and Ann Hamilton of the Kingston Johnson-Kelly Legion Post #483 Auxiliary went to the St. Cloud Veterans Medical Center Monday, Aug. 23. They assisted activities directors Amy and Brett with the monthly birthday celebration. There were 32 veterans and visitors present. We sang patriotic and other familiar songs while Amy played the piano. The patriotic songs were the veteran’s favorites. The volunteers served refreshments. Lori Wells baked the bars as part of the Auxiliary Home Service Program and Ann Hamilton provided cookies. August birthdays included Louis F. and Robert G. The next volunteer day is the Festival of Nations in September. The birthday celebration next month will be Monday, Sept. 27. Ann Hamilton, Public Relations
