Pork chop dinner The Kingston Lions will sponsor their second annual pork chop dinner for Camp Friendship. The dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Kingston Community Center. There will be a prize drawing for the following items. o First prize – Sears Kenmore gas grill. o Second prize – Sears Craftsman motorcycle/ATV jack stand. o Third prize – Sylvania 19″ color television. o Various other prizes. The cost is a $7 donation for the dinner. Motorcycle fun run The Kingston Lions will sponsor their second annual motorcycle fun run for Camp Friendship. The motorcycle run will take place Saturday, May 8. Sign-up for the run is at the Kingston Community Center from 10-10:45 a.m. The cost is a $10 donation for the ride and includes a pork chop dinner (being held that evening at the Kingston Community Center – see notice on this page) and prize drawing. Riders will leave at 11 a.m. The fun run will include stops in Raymond, Spicer and Paynesville, with the last stop at 4:40 p.m. at the community center in Kingston for the dinner and drawing. Everyone is welcome. You do not need a motorcycle to attend the dinner or drawing.
