Notice for Gravel
Kingston Township is asking for sealed bids on screening, loading, hauling, and spreading of approximately 7,000 yards of class 5 gravel for 2023 on township roads. All bids must be in the form of cubic yards. Include in your bid the cost of class 5 for emergency delivery, ex: wash outs, frost boils. You must be willing to work with our township board, and road grader-operator. We will ask for random tests on gravel loads being hauled. A certificate of insurance must accompany your bid. The township board will not accept any bids that include a surcharge for fuel. Work is to be completed June 1, 2023. Any gravel delivery after this date will be reduced by $100 per day until fulfillment of contract has been met. The board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids.
