Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar released the following statement today regarding the U.S. Postal Service’s (USPS) announcement that no post offices in Minnesota are being considered for closure, as previous USPS plans had proposed.
“This is good news for Minnesota. I had heard from many small town residents who were very concerned about lengthy drives to pick up their mail if post offices were closed. I am glad that the Postal Service responded to these concerns.”
