Kuechle named to All-Star Basketball Game series

Tammy Kuechle was recently selected to play in the 2003 All-Star Basketball Game series to take place Friday and Saturday, June 27-28, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Kuechle is one of 40 girls selected from all four classes throughout the state. Darby Norren from Albany is the only other athlete from our area selected to play. Ms. Minnesota Basketball, Liz Podominick of Lakeville, and many other great basketball players from the state will also participate in the event.    Kuechle will report to the Twin Cities on Thursday, June 26. Once there she will be placed on one of four teams and will compete in basketball games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. It is a great honor to be selected to participate in this series. Tammy has worked hard to achieve this recognition. Tickets are available at the Target Center.
