Women are working in the Kimball area to start a local Women of Today chapter, and members 18 and older are needed. Fun and informational meetings are planned for 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, and Thursday, April 29, at Stanley’s Family Restaurant. The mission of the Minnesota Women of Today is to help women improve their own lives and the lives of the people in the communities around them. Young women are actively encouraged to become involved and hold leadership positions. Women of Today serve their communities through service projects and public awareness programs. Women involved in the group can take personal enrichment programs such as effective speaking and writing, time management, leadership team building, stress management and more.
