Daytime snow reaching 3 inches or more: snow plows will start operating, with school bus routes and main roads opened first, then developed areas and dead-end roads that are accepted Township roads, maintained by the Township. Nighttime snow: the same procedure will be followed with plows starting at 5 a.m. During snow storms, visibility and official weather forecasts will determine when snow plowing takes place. Ice on roads: sanding for ice will be done when the Maine Prairie Township Supervisors deem it to be necessary and order sanding to be done. Township residents are reminded that it is unlawful to plow snow from driveways onto or across public roads, and also no parked cars on Township roads. Beverly Adolph, Clerk
