Notice to Kingston Township residents, the November monthly meeting will be held on the 3rd (Monday) at 7 p.m. due to the General election being held on the 4th of November. All meetings are held at the Kingston Community Center.

PUBLIC HEARING
KIMBALL CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the Kimball City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Main St. N, to consider the following:
A request by Independent School District #739 for a variance to erect a sign that exceeds the allowable 9 square feet by approximately 36 square feet and a variance to erect a sign that exceeds the maximum height by 1 foot 2 inches.

Legal description: The South One-half of the Southeast Quarter (S 1/2 SE 1/4) of Section Three (3), in Township One Hundred Twenty-one (121) North, of Range Twenty-nine (29) West, in Stearns County, Minnesota, LESS AND EXCEPT the following described tracts, to-wit:
1. Land taken or deeded for public road and railroad purposes.
2. An area in the Southeast Corner of the tract described as: Commencing at Section corner in Southeast corner of Sec. 3, Twp. 121, Rge. 29, thence North 5 rods, thence West 1 rod, thence North and parallel with said Section line between Sections 2 and 3, 5 rods to a point, thence West 15 rods and 9 feet to a point, thence South 10 rods to the Section line, thence East along said Section line 16 rods and 9 feet to the place of beginning.
3. An area in the Northeast corner of the tract described as follows: The East 200 feet of the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, lying North of State Highway No. 55, and West of the Village Road which runs North and South, Village of Kimball Prairie.
4. All that part of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, lying between State Highway No. 55 and the extension of Hazel Avenue from Village of Kimball to said State Highway No. 55.
5. The West 700 feet of the East 900 feet of the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 of Sec.3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, Village of Kimball Prairie, lying North of State Trunk Highway No. 55, and West of the Village Road which runs North and South.
6. Less and except tract deeded to Independent School District No. 739 of Stearns and Meeker Counties, recorded in Book 244 of Deeds, on page 69. (Noted at No. 62 of this abstract).
7. The West 702 feet of the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, lying South of the West extension of Hazel Avenue and State Highway No. 55, said land being in the Village of Kimball, Minnesota.
8. The West 70 feet of the East 970 feet of the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4, of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, Village of Kimball Prairie, lying North of State Trunk Highway No. 55 and West of the Village Road which runs North and South.
9. The S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, lying South of the West extension of Hazel Avenue and North of the Railroad Right-of-Way, except the West 702 feet of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 3, in Twp. 121, Rge. 29, lying South of the West extension of Hazel Avenue and State Highway No. 55, said land being in the Village of Kimball, Minnesota.
ALSO LESS & EXCEPT: The East 320 feet of the West 470 feet of the SW¼SE¼ Section 3, Township 121, Range 29, lying Northerly of the Northerly right of way line of State Highway No. 55.
ALSO LESS & EXCEPT: The West 150 feet of the SW¼SE¼ of Section 3, Township 121, Range 29, lying Northerly of the Northerly right of way line of State Trunk Highway No. 55.
ALSO LESS & EXCEPT: The East 200 feet of the West 670 feet of the SW¼SE¼ of Section 3, Township 121, Range 29 lying Northerly of the Northerly right of way line of State Trunk Highway No. 55.
