Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County, State of Minnesota, that filing for town office will be open from December 30, 2025, through January 13, 2026.
Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed at the Maine Prairie Township Hall, 7551 Dellwood Road, Kimball, MN 55353. Filing fee is $2.00. Call for an appointment at (320) 398-2905.

An Ordinance Amending City Ordinance 600
Regulating Possession, Sale, and Consumption of Intoxicating and 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KIMBALL, MINNESOTA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.
That Section 600.03 (b) is hereby amended to read as follows:
“(b) Restaurant. an establishment, other than a hotel, under the control of a single proprietor or manager, where meals are regularly prepared on the premises and served at tables to the general public, having a minimum seating capacity for 30 guests and has a license to serve food from the Department of Health.”
SECTION 2. ADDITION.
That Section 600.03 is hereby amended by the addition of (c) which shall read as follows:
“(c) Club. an incorporated organization organized under the laws of the state for civic, fraternal, social, or business purposes, for intellectual improvement, or for the promotion of sports, or a congressionally chartered veterans’ organization, which:
(1) has more than 30 members;
(2) has owned or rented a building or space in a building for more than one year that is suitable and adequate for the accomodation of its members;
(3) is directed by a board of directors, executive committee, or other similar body chosen by the members at a meeting held for that purpose. No member, officer, agent, or employee shall receive any profit from the distribution or sale of beverages to the members of the club, or their guests, beyond a reasonable salary or wages fixed and voted each year by the governing body.”
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance Amendment is hereby adopted this 1st day of December, 2025, shall be effective upon its adoption and publication as prescribed by law.
