Camp Friendship buzzed with excitement and laughter while the Fairhaven and Kimball Lions’ Clubs hosted the camp’s weekly social event Tuesday, July 13. Members from both clubs treated Friendship Ventures’ participants to cookies and an ice cream treat. The generosity of the Fairhaven and Kimball Lions’ Clubs and many other service organizations makes a big difference in the camp’s ability to serve children and adults with disabilities. Nearly 3,000 people participate in Friendship Ventures’ camping, respite and travel programs each year.
