Margaret Klein died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at her Fair Haven home. She was 77.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Kimball United Methodist Church with Pastor Luke Nelson officiating. Friends may call after 10. a.m. just before the service. Interment will follow at the Fair Haven Cemetery.
Margaret V. Klein was born July 8, 1931, in Trenton, N.J., to Lamonte and Alice (Sutphin) Dye. She married John O. Klein Oct. 20, 1951, in Hopewell, N.J. She worked as a clerk for the State of New Jersey and for the Elk River School District. Margaret was a 4-H leader in New Jersey and then in Minnesota, and she was a member of the Kimball United Methodist Church, Homemakers of Sherburne County and Red Hats of Pioneer Park. She enjoyed reading, painting, and traveling.
Margaret is survived by her husband JZack of Fair Haven; children Jim (and Wendy) of Zimmerman, Janice (and Jeff) Hylden of Kennewick, Wash., Tom (and Barb) of Powell, Wyo., Sue (and Chuck) Flanders of Crystal; sisters Betty Golden of Flemington, N.J., and Doris Wert of Pennington, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care.
