Matthew Hendrickson died on Saturday, April 12, 2003, in his Kingston Township home. He was 30 years old. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Kingston with Warren Lindberg and Reuben Hendrickson officiating. Interment followed in the Swan Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Matthew Lee Hendrickson was born on March 21, 1973, in Litchfield to David and Flora (Sarkinen) Hendrickson. He attended Dassel-Cokato High School and later studied dairy herd management at Hutchinson Technical School. He married Rosalie Daniels in Spearfish, S.D., on Sept. 26, 1992. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Kingston Township area. Matthew enjoyed his agricultural background, having farmed the land, worked as a dairy herdsman and as a dairy cow hoof trimmer. Matthew is survived by his wife Rosalie; children Nicholas, Jared, Rebecca, Katie and Adam; parents David and Flora of Kimball; sister Mary (and Steve) Pekkala of Dassel; brothers Mark (and Renee) Hendrickson of Kimball, Samuel (and Kara) Hendrickson of Dassel, and Brian (and Gwendolyn) Hendrickson of Kimball; his parents-in-law Arthur and Eloise Daniels of Sturgis, S.D.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Casket bearers were Mark, Samuel, Brian and Scott Hendrickson, Kenneth Sarkinen and Steve Pekkala. Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel.
