The Kimball School Board held their May 19 Regular meeting beginning at 6:11 p.m.
The board accepted a resignation from an elementary special education teacher, approved a leave of absence request, and hiring of a high school social worker and an elementary special education teacher.
The principals reported on the 6th grade Deep Portage trip, 7th grade field trip, staff development goal for 2024-2025, end of year information, staffing needs, Ag Day and current class size numbers.
The superintendent gave an update on 2025-2026 calendar, prices for irrigation, turf, locker, 2025 negotiations and end of year items.
The board approved the second revised 2024-2025 budget, property/liability and workers compensation insurance renewal, extended contract days, addition to the 2025-2026 high school course catalog.
The next meeting is Monday, June 16, at 6 p.m.
