The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the accompanying sketch. On June 8, 2007, at 9:13 p.m., Mike’s Standard in Eden Valley was robbed at gunpoint by a Hispanic male. The suspect was in his mid-20s, 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, wearing baggy blue jeans, a white bandana over his face and a black hat. The suspect produced a silver semi-automatic handgun during the robbery and stated something to the effect that “he had a family to feed.” The suspect forced the clerk into the back room and fled. On July 4, 2007, at 10:25 a.m., Roger’s Liquor Store in Grove City was robbed at gunpoint by a Hispanic male. The suspect was in his mid-20s, 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, 150-160 pounds, dark short hair, brown eyes with very bushy eyebrows. The suspect was wearing a brown zip up long sleeve shirt and faded jeans, along with a yellow bandana over his face. The suspect produced a silver semi-automatic handgun and made a “similar statement to the clerk reference having a family to feed.” The suspect then fled in an unknown direction and mode of travel.
