This year’s Little Miss Kimball candidates for the annual Kimball Days celebration, which runs Friday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 12, have been announced. They are: • Bailey Berscheid is the 8-year-old daughter of Erick and Melinda Berscheid. Bailey is sponsored by the Kimball American Legion. • Makayla Epple is the 7-year-old daughter of Jody Orbeck and Paul Epple. Makayla is sponsored by Schmidty’s. • Shania Garding is the 6-year-old daughter of Gary and Jody Garding. Shania is sponsored by Thomas Ehlinger Agency Inc./American Family Ins. • Erika Gilpatrick is the 9-year-old daughter of Jeff and Shirley Gilpatrick. Erika is sponsored by Southside Steel Systems (Brent and Chris Nehring). • Kiersten Johnson is the 6-year-old daughter of Randy and Gwen Johnson. On Friday, Aug. 10, at 7:15 p.m., the 2006 royalty and 2007 queen candidates parade will start at the elementary school and end at the high school (in case of rain, parade will be cancelled). At 7:30 p.m., the Little Miss Kimball queen coronation will be held at Kimball Area High School.
