The Memorial Day mass (above) in the parish cemetery of the Church of St. Anthony was one of several local services held over the weekend to commemorate Memorial Day, a national holiday to honor those who have served our country in the military and who are no longer with us.
Services also were held in Forest City (Sunday afternoon) and in Kimball, Kingston, and Eden Valley Monday morning. Despite threatening-looking clouds, the day was cool but dry for these outdoor services.
