The University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Landscape Arboretum have paired up to put together a fantastic calendar. Not only are there fabulous photos from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, but valuable information. The information and tips provided are specific to Minnesota, so no more guessing if this is applicable here when the authors actually live elsewhere. There are monthly gardening tips, planting guides, and other helpful gardening information for both new and experienced gardeners.
All proceeds from the calendar are reinvested in developing teaching, research and outreach education and materials focused on Minnesota horticulture through the state.
Get a head start on your shopping this season by stopping into the University of Minnesota Extension Offices in Benton, Morrison, and Stearns Counties to purchase a Minnesota Gardening 2016 calendar for only $13, while supplies last. The offices will be closed for the holidays on November 26, 27, and December 24, 25, 2015.
