“Monster” Mike Schultz of Kimball just had the most incredible year of his life: named to Team USA for the 2018 Paralympics in Korea, being chosen by his team to be the flag-bearer for the opening ceremonies, and winning both gold (above) and silver there, having his face on boxes of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, numerous world championship gold medals, and even a day designated in his honor in Kimball (May 6). But he’s not finished yet! Schultz was just named to the 2019 Team USA Paralympic team, and he will compete again on his own in the XGames in January. Way to go, “Monster” Mike! TCN file photo.
