1 stick butter, melted
6 TBSP cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 8×8” pan.
Mix cocoa into melted butter until smooth. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one. Mix in the vanilla. Add flour and mix well again. (NOTE: if you’re adding 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips, toss them in with the flour so they stay suspended in the batter.)
Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on your oven. Do not overbake or they’ll be dry.
