Michael Skillingstad, 52 of Andover, was operating a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on County Road 136 Saturday, Oct. 19, at 3:08 p.m.
Michael Havelak, 42 of Ramsey, was driving a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle on the right side of Skillingstad northbound on County Road 136. Skillingstad attempted to turn eastbound onto County Road 115 while Havelak continued straight.
Skillingstad’s and Havelak’s motorcycles collided with each other.
Both drivers, along with Skillingstad’s passenger, Kelly -Laumann, 56 of Maple Grove, were transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for further medical treatment.
None of the three was wearing a helmet. Alcohol is also believed to be a factor in the crash.
St. Augusta Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted.
