Museum?Äôs Burger Run to visit historic eateries

Participants test-taste burgers, and get a side of history and trivia.

The Stearns History Museum will lead a bus tour for food enthusiasts to the area?Äôs historic hamburger eateries from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1.

The tour will begin at 11 a.m. at the Stearns History Museum. Participants will have a chance to taste and evaluate a quarter or half a burger from each establishment. The cost includes a coach bus, burgers, snacks, and beverages. While traveling between stops, staff will entertain you with burger trivia and a short history of each eatery. Collectively, these five hamburger places have been open for 197 years.

The cost is $50 for members, $55 for nonmembers. The locations are HR Pesty?Äôs Saloon & Eatery, Jimmy?Äôs Pour House, Kay?Äôs Kitchen Family Diner, Lincoln Depot, and Val?Äôs Rapid Service.
