Several local communities are making plans for the 35th annual National Night Out to be celebrated everywhere Tuesday evening, Aug. 7.
Eden Valley will have neighborhood “block parties” around town. Eden Valley Police will make the rounds of these individual parties.
Kimball will have a central party at the Lions Shelter in Willow Creek Park, with root beer floats from 6-8 p.m. The Boy Scouts will have activities, the Kimball Fire Dept. will have water ball, and the Kimball Police Dept. will have their vehicles there.
The Watkins celebration will be at McCarthy Park in conjunction with Meeker County Sheriff’s Office. Food and games, from 5-8 p.m.
