In 1962 President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation designating May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day.
Sheriff Brian Cruze is pleased to announce that once again the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office will host an annual memorial service. The short prayer service will be held in front of the Meeker County Law Enforcement Center, 326 N. Ramsey Avenue in Litchfield, at 9 a.m. Monday, May 15. The prayer service will be officiated by Meeker County Sheriff’s Office Chaplains Jeff Garland and Fr. Brian Mandel. The public is invited and welcome to attend this service.
