KDUZ/KARP Radio sports director Joel Niemeyer will be a guest host on the Minnesota Twins Radio network, Saturday, July 31, as the Twins take on the Boston Red Sox at the Metrodome. Niemeyer will participate on the broadcast with pregame hosts Eric Nelson and John Gordon starting at 5:30 p.m. Niemeyer will also participate in the “Baseball Today” segment discussing what baseball means to the Hutchinson area. In addition, Niemeyer will sit in for the last half-hour of WCCO Radio’s “Twins Magazine.” This is the second year the Minnesota Twins Radio Network has invited representatives of their affiliates from around the state to be a guest host during a Saturday night home game. The Twins plan to run this program every year.
