Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Maine Prairie Township, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.
The Election Poll hours will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., at which time the voters will elect:
• 1 – 3 year term Supervisor
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:30 p.m. to conduct all necessary business by law. Some items on agenda:
• Set Levy for 2011
• Fire Contracts/Districts
• Road Projects
• Comprehensive Growth Plan
• Elm Street Extension
The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Kimball Area Fire & Rescue Hall, 300 N Elm Street, Kimball, MN 55353.
