NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, that Beck Farms (Mary Lynne Beck Rev. Trust) has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency or the County of -Stearns for a permit to expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.

The proposed/expanded feedlot will be located in the S.W. 1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 6 T122N-R28W, Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County, Minnesota. The existing facility consists of 465 animal units of beef slaughter cattle (450 head) and calves (75 head). The existing facility consists of total and partial confinement barns including open lots, with manure stacked and stored in the barns and open lot. The proposed expansion of the current facility will result in a total of 999 animal units for a total animal unit capacity of 999 head of beef slaughter steers. The proposed facility will consist of the above listed facilities and manure storage areas with an additional proposed total confinement barn that will have a concrete under barn LMSA.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
