NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Legal Notice Notice is hereby given that the Stearns County Planning Commission, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct certain public hearings as follows: 1. To consider a forty-seven (47) lot plat consisting of 45 residential lots, a lot intended for controlled access to Lake Marie and Lake Louisa for the non-riparian owners of the plat and a lot designated as open space. The plat entitled, “The Lakes of Fairhaven” was submitted by Sienna Corporation, Edina, MN (developers) for Gregory and Jill Huls, St. Bonificaus, MN and Gerald and Debra Gillman, South Haven, MN (property owners) according to Stearns County Ordinance #230. This property is zoned Residential 5 (R-5) and Residential 1 (R-1). The 121.11-acre plat is located in part of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 Section 5, in part of the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 Section 8, and in part of the W 1/2 of the SW 1/4 Section 5, all lying southerly of County Road 44, westerly of 58th Avenue, northerly of Lake Louisa and Lake Marie and easterly of the plat of Hidden Estates, Fairhaven Township (121/28). 2. To consider a conditional use permit for Sienna Corpor-ation, Edina, MN (developers) for Gregory and Jill Huls, St. Bonificaus, MN and Gerald and Debra Gillman, South Haven, MN (property owners) according to Sections 4.8 and 10.1.7C (3) of Stearns County Land Use and Zoning Ordinance #209. The request is to allow a docking facility in the floodway of the Clearwater River in conjunction with the proposed plat of “The Lakes of Fairhaven.” The 121.11-acre plat is located in part of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 Section 5, in part of the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 Section 8 and in part of the W 1/2 of the SW 1/4, Section 5, all lying southerly of County Road 44, westerly of 58th Avenue, northerly of Lake Louisa and Lake Marie and easterly of the plat of Hidden Estates, Fairhaven Township (121/28). Notice is further given that the above hearings will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2003 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the County Board Room, County Administration Center, 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota. A copy of the proposed requests are on file in the Stearns County Environmental Services Office, County Administration Center, Room 343, 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota, and can be viewed during regular business hours. All interested persons are invited to attend said hearings or submit written testimony prior to the hearing date, either in support of or in opposition to the proposed requests.
