The Cokato Historical Society and Friends of the Cokato Library invite everyone to Join us Monday, Oct. 27, as we welcome back acclaimed author and photographer, Doug Ohman, who will speak on one of his latest endeavors, Saluting the Civil War. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Room of the Cokato Public Library.
Traversing the state, Doug researched and captured on film hundreds of grave sites and historic markers/memorials relating to the Civil War.
He also spent time photographing national battlefields where Minnesota soldiers fought with valor and distinction.
