Students looking for the perfect time to apply to college should consider October the perfect time – it’s College Knowledge Month!
In honor of the month that recognizes the power of knowledge and post-secondary opportunities, Ridgewater – along with all Minnesota State colleges and universities – designates at least one week during October as a time to give potential students the gift of free applications.
Ridgewater College will waive its regular $20 application fee for the entire month – it’s just one way Ridgewater works to eliminate barriers to higher education.
College application is the first key step toward seeking many careers and lifelong learning, explained Devinder Malhotra, chancellor of Minnesota State, in a recent system-wide press release.
Interested potential students should go to www.ridgewater.edu/applynow, between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31. No promo code is needed – Ridgewater will simply waive the fee.
Application fees for active duty military service members deployed overseas and eligible low-income students are always waived.
