The second annual 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF), scheduled for July 1-4 at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, promises to be one of the summer’s great outdoor music festivals. The 10KLF will showcase more than 40 artists and bands. The festival will begin Thursday, July 1, with a three-hour pre-festival concert featuring electronic funk band Particle, a highlight of the jam band festival circuit. Last year’s debut festival attracted more than 12,000 fans from across the country to the Soo Pass Ranch, which offers an amphitheater and more than 7,000 individual campsites. Concession stands vending merchandise and healthy food and beverages will be available. There is a dance floor near the stage, and restrooms with running water and flush toilets. Camping at the festival is fan-friendly. All campgrounds have roads, lighting, and full services including trash and recycling collection. There are multiple entrances to all campgrounds for quick check-in and easy set-up. Additionally, pedestrian walkways under the highways flanking the concert bowl allow for safe access to the concerts. Tickets can be bought online at www.10000lakesfestival.com, and at any Ticketmaster locations. ******10,000 Lakes Festival line-up ****** o 311 o Galactic o The Roots o John Mayer o Los Lobos o Medesky, Martin and Wood o Stockholm Syndrome o Maroon5 o Yonder Mountain String Band o Particle o North Mississippi All Stars o Keller Williams o Rob Wasserman o DJ Logic o Jazz Mandolin Project o The Radiators o The Samples o Soulive o Dirty Dozen Brass Band o Buckwheat Zydeco o The Big Wu o Los Lonely Boys o The Greyhounds o Dread Zeppelin o New Monsoon o and more.
