Paraprofessional Recognition Week

·

The week of Jan. 21-27 has been proclaimed Paraprofessional Recognition Week by Governor Walz.

Paraprofessionals continue to step up in so many ways during the school year. We want to take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate all of their contributions to the Eden Valley-Watkins School District.

Paraprofessionals work in a variety of positions in our school district to support students, assist instructors, and promote a positive learning experience for all of our students. Their roles include instructional assistants, Title I paraprofessionals, pupil support assistants, special education paraprofessionals, tutors, lunch room and playground assistants, hall monitors, media center assistants, and health office assistants.

Please take the time to visit with a paraprofessional and acknowledge their hard work and contributions to our students, school district, and community. We couldn’t perform this difficult work without their dedicated service and support.

We’re extremely fortunate for all of the outstanding paraprofessionals working with our students at EV-W!
