Patricia Boxell died peacefully Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her Chaska home. She was 76. 
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm. Sunday, June 11, at Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church (145 Engler Blvd. in Chaska), with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Coffee and bars will follow the service. Inurnment will be at Howard Lake Cemetery in Howard Lake.
Patricia Garrison was born in Hampton, Iowa, on Nov. 25, 1946, to Merlin R. and Lorraine J. (Straiton) Garrison. She was a wife, working mom, self-taught painter, book lover, and lover of all nature. She had been employed at Honeywell in mail distribution, and as a counselor at Madden’s Group Home in Kimball.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 52 years, Jeffrey Donald Boxell, and by her parents.
She is survived by her sons Jeff and Jaime Boxell; grandchildren Parker, Camen, Jaida, and Ela, all of them equally and especially loved for their unique and individual personalities; siblings James Garrison (and family), Ruth Garrison (and Jack Zylla, and family), and Marian Garrison-Marlow (and Paul, and family); and a host of extended family and friends. In her words: “I am blessed, and thankful for them all.”
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska.
