Paul Carlson of Shorewood, Minn., died April 4, 2004, of a brain tumor. He was 67.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at Crystal Evangelical Free Church in New Hope with visitation one hour prior and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Albin Chapel in Eden Prairie. Interment was in Dassel Cemetery.
Carlson was the band teacher in Kimball during the mid-1960s. He was a piano tuner and technician, and retired from teaching music in the Robbinsdale School District.
Carlson was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Arvid and Lillian Carlson; father-in-law Rev. Arthur Anderson; brother-in-law Tom Romfro; and nephew Steven Goodrich.
He is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 40 years, Rosalie; son Jon (and Deb) Carlson; daughter Kristen (and Mark) McNabb; grandchildren Brittny, Sommer, Anders and Peter; siblings Phil (and Sharon) Carlson, Ruth (and Don) Goodrich, Dan (and Diane) Carlson, Rachel Romfo, Gordon (and Paula) Carlson and Mark (and Kathy) Carlson; many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
