The Lake Area Music Teachers Forum sponsored two piano recitals Sunday, Feb. 22, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kingston. The piano selections ranged in style from jazz to the classical sonatina. Performers from our area participating were Shelby Anderson, Sydney Ashbrook, Kaysha Beckermann, Courtney Helmin, Karen Hendrickson, Nicole Knickerbocker, Tyson Laakkonen, Debbie Rokala, Rhonda Rokala, Robin Rokala, John Tiemann, Linnea Tiemann, Peter Tiemann, Stephen Tiemann, Kenzie Traurig, Jillian Yanish and Hannah Zipoy. Forum teachers with students participating were Elaine Nordlie, Flo Osness, and LeRene Soderberg of Dassel, Megan Soderlund of Darwin and Barb Root of Kimball. Honorary members are Louise Guhl of Dassel and Esther Schumann of Cokato.
