Pioneer Day at Pioneer Park

Minnesota Pioneer Park in Annandale will host its annual Pioneer Day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 10. Visitors can tour the many exhibit buildings and watch several artisan demonstrations related to pioneer life. The Singleton Street Band will provide entertainment throughout the day, the River Valley Rangers will conduct Civil War re-enactments at their authentic camp set-up, and Detta Juusola will offer spinning demonstrations. Other activities are telegraph and Morse code demonstrations, rope and soap making, butter churning and more. Hot dogs, ice cream, root beer floats and buffalo burger meals will be on sale throughout the day. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, $3 for children ages 6-16, and children 5 and younger are free. For more information call (320) 274-8489.
