Kylie Pope, a Kimball area student, competed in the USAG-sponsored Level 8 state gymnastics meet held at Hamline University in St. Paul March 14. She received an All-Around score of 36.375. That score qualified her for the Regional Gymnastics meet in Des Moines, Iowa, April 3 and 4. The top 14 all-around scores were selected, and those gymnasts along with two alternates represent Minnesota in the Level 8 Division. Kylie is a ninth-grader at Kimball Area High School and a member of Twisters Gymnastics in Waite Park. Her parents are Wayne and Cindy Pope of Kimball. Her grandparents are Wheeler and Laura Pope of Kimball, and Jan and Reggie Becker of Sauk Rapids.
