Buck Hill edged Powder Ridge by three points to win the Powder Ridge Invitational Saturday by a score of 112 to 109. Andes Tower Hills finished a distant third (35 points), and Tonkawood fourth (10 points). A total of 32 Ridge Racers finished in the top five scoring team points. First place was earned by Tyler Mahowald (Boys age 7), Anne Boesen (Girls age 10), Nathan Hilbert (Boys age 11), Kelly Zelko (Girls age 14), Katie Bailey (Girls age 15+) and Ben Minkel (Boys age 15+). Second place went to Hannah Spoden (Girls age 6), Tommy Becker (Boys age 6), Jason Lim (Boys age 9), David Kivisto (Boys age 10), Helena Nelson (Girls age 12), Mitch Swenson (Boys age 13) and Cole Minkel (Boys age 15+). Third place went to Ben Summers (Boys age 7), Brooke Swenson (Girls age 7), Louie Stuck (Boys age 7), Shelby Zoller (Girls age 8), Carly Hendrickson (Girls age 9), Suzanne Schneider (Girls age 10), Cole Schroers (Boys age 10), Charlie Stuck (Boys age 11), Elizabeth Dorle (Girls age 13), Cameron Flaschenreim (Boys age 13), Conner Heinen (Boys age 14) and Michael Dorle (Boys age 15+). Fourth-place points were collected by Carter Bollinger (Boys age 6), Ethan Miller (Boys age 7) and Rachael Boesen (Girls age 8). Fifth place went to Zander Dent (Boys age 6), Mathieu Jobin (Boys age 7), Brinley Zoller (Girls age 11) and Nick Swenson (Boys age 11). The Powder Ridge Team competes next at the MSRL Championships at Mt. Kato Saturday, Feb. 26.
