MONDAY, AUG. 2, 2004 A public hearing is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, for a variance on a proposed new house and attached garage at 5173 Brookfield Road, Fairhaven Township, Brookfield Road, South Haven, MN, Section 5, Range 28, TWP 121, requested by Erin Forsyth, phone number (612) 810-8712. The new house and attached garage would be located 20 feet from the edge of Brookfield Road on the east side of the property and close to 30 feet on the west side of the new driveway. Fairhaven Zoning Ordinances call for 65 feet for the setback from this township road. This property is very steep and the new house is being located about 112 feet from Lake Marie. A detailed drawing is available showing the elevations that they are working with on this property. The plans are to leave the present, very small cabin and deck on the property. According to Fairhaven Township Ordinances Section 504.3.a. Setback of structures from Township Road shall be 65 feet from the center of the road. Submitted by Ruth B.
