Fiesta City Speedway, 9/3 Friday, Sept. 3 was season championship night at Fiesta City Speedway in Montevideo. Ryan Canon ended the regular season by taking second in the Wissota Modifieds feature race. The final race of the season will be Sunday, Sept. 26. Grove Creek Raceway, 9/4 Ninety-six cars participated in Grove Creek Raceway action Saturday, Sept. 4. In Wissota Modifieds, Ryan Canon of Clearwater took first place in the first heat and went on to win his first feature race of the season. Canon took second place in overall Wissota Modifieds season standings. In Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Dustin Johanneck of Watkins took first, and Matt Weisman of South Haven took third in the third heat. Johanneck went on to take third place in the feature.
