Loving and devoted dad, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Ralph Linn died Aug. 12, 2003. He left peacefully in the presence of his family at his home in Puyallup, Wash. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2003 and had a happy and blessed last 6 months with his family. He was 54-years-old. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Puyallup Church of Christ. Ralph Linn was born in Kimball to Kenneth and Phyllis Linn; he moved to the Puyallup area at age 2. He has lived in Pierce and King counties ever since. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1967 where he played football and baseball. Ralph married Dorothy Bacon soon after graduation. They started a family with the birth of their first son Todd. He started a job at Boeing in Renton, Wash., where they relocated and later had their second son, Jason. He worked at Boeing until his cancer diagnosis. He was dedicated to his job and loved the 737. Ralph’s unconditional love of family, sense of humor, friendship, willingness to help others and his simple yet fulfilling life will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his two sons Todd and Jason; mother Phyllis; brother Ken; sister Lilly; grandchildren Sydney and Mackenzie; nephews Scott, Tony, Collin and Sean; and niece Amy. He was also married to Linda Linn, whom he cherished dearly, for 9 years. Many other friends and family who he touched will remember him for the many blessings that he brought with him and leaves for us to remember.
