Regina Ferguson died Nov. 13, 2003, in Zearing, Iowa, at age 87.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 17, at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Radcliffe, Iowa, with Rev. Dana Williams officiating. Interment was in the Radcliffe Cemetery.
Regina Marie Ferguson was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Green Castle, Mo., to Carl and Ollie (Garret) Bales. She married Muriel (M.R.) Ferguson in Yuma, Ariz., July 1, 1938. They settled in Radcliffe in 1943. She treasured her friendships, and enjoyed helping all.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1968, sister Frankie Ford, and brothers Gerald and Kenneth Bales.
She is survived by her children Beverly (and Robert) Adolph of Kimball, and George Ferguson of Aplington, Iowa; grandchildren Kenneth and Teresa Ferguson of Nevada, Iowa, and Ray and Jerry Adolph of Kimball; three great-grandchildren, Tabrie, Magen and Abbey Ferguson; and other relatives and friends.
Casket bearers were Ray and Jerry Adolph, Raynold and David Topp, William Olson and Tom Hetland. Music was provided by Mary Severseike. Arrangements were by Boeke Funeral Home of Radcliffe, Iowa.
