Councilmember Chris Jansky introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. To add Ordinance #1117-Housing Ordinance for Rental Property to Chapter 10, Section 1120-Multi Family District.

The purpose of this ordinance is to provide minimum standards to safeguard life and limb, health, and public welfare by regulation and controlling the use and occupancy, maintenance and repair of all buildings and structures within the City of Kimball used for the purpose of rental housing. Complete ordinance available at City Hall, 1 Main St. N. Kimball.

Effective Date: This Ordinance will be effective January 1, 2010, and license must be issued by March 31, 2010.

Councilmember Eric Loewen seconded the foregoing motion. Those voting in favor of: Tammy Konz, Joe Krippner, Eric Loewen, DuWayne Orbeck, Chris Jansky.

Passed and adopted by the City of Kimball this 19th day of October, 2009.
